Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

This is my updated pull request which includes a test....but the test passes even without the fix. I'm not sure how to write a test which illustrates PDO throwing an exception without a database.
