Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

My version of solving the "if object not found in cache, create object, store it, and then return it" in PHP using references.
Mostly as a suggestion. I think it's a beautiful solution, although it might not be as obvious as the current solution.
