sql SELECT c.categoryId, c.name FROM \Entity\Category c INDEX BY c.categoryId

When the getArrayResult is called the resultset is properly indexed, when the getScalarResult is called - the resultset is zero-based. Please confirm that it is either a bug or a proper behavior.

This is proper behavior, scalar result is about returning the raw PDO result row. Only Object and Array Hydration to processing,
